PFAG Commended for Its Outstanding Work
The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) has been recognized for its exemplary efforts at championing the interests of the country’s professional footballers.
The PFAG received this latest special recognition at the recently held Ghana Football Awards ceremony which came off at the plush Marriot Hotel in Accra.
On a night where Atletico Madrid star man Thomas Partey retained his status as Footballer of the Year, the PFAG was awarded the enviable “GFA Thumbs Up Award” for their ongoing immense contribution to football development in Ghana.
Present at the ceremony to accept the award on behalf of the PFAG were Deputy General Secretary Solomon Torson, Black Stars Deputy Coach Ibrahim Tanko, PFAG Player Relations Manager Youssif Chibsah, Out of Contract Programme supremo Abubakr Damba, as well as the Association’s Head of Communications Nathaniel Laryea.
The PFAG commends the organizers and award recipients on a good job done. We will continue to support such events which recognize the amazing efforts of all professional footballers in the country. It remains our belief that such events will go a long way to encourage our players to continue giving off their best for mother Ghana.
The PFAG wishes to reaffirm the Association’s commitment to protecting the rights and interests of all Ghanaian professional footballers within the country and those plying their trade across the globe.
We continue to stand with and for the players as they strive to reach their highest possible potential.
